This new pop sip cap is such a massive improvement. I get no more air pockets when sipping and i can easily clean it compared to before which was basically impossible to do so. I dont need to worry about mold anymore!!

TLDR: Got the new cover > Didn’t budge > Used the back of a spoon to loosen it > Happy customer
After the announcement of the new cover, I was ecstatic but when I received it after work, I honestly hated it at first. I almost sprained my thumb just trying to open the straw (not even to clean it, just to use it). It really dampened my mood because I expected this cover to solve problems, not give me new ones.
But after messaging the team the next morning, they were super prompt and taught me the ways of this cover (sorry I am dumb)
- There was no “stick remover” included, but you can just use the back of a spoon.
- Removed the straw twice and it loosened up a lot, maybe I was just unlucky and got a slightly misaligned one.
And now? I love it.
- Definitely much sturdier than the old cover (no more mini leaks)
- Straw is bigger and thicker (great for straw biters)
- Aligns with the OVER logo
- FINALLY able to clean everything
Really happy that the team listened to our complaints and invested in making an improved cover. I was honestly surprised. THANKS OVER!

Mine was hard to pop it off. That’s why I delayed on trying this new popsip. The design is nice though and looks sturdy. Keep up the good work 👍🏼

The design is beautiful and very fresh. But the downside is it’s quite easily breakable. Compared to the first generation where it was practically unbreakable. I already broke 3 of the cover already as of today from a short fall from my coffee table to the floor in a half full bottle.
The new design of being able to remove the top and clean is a great improvement. But may need to see how to improve it’s performance in handling fall.

I bought this to replace my broken lid (old design) and was initially worried it wouldn’t fit. Thankfully, it fit perfectly!
I very much prefer this lid. Totally no leaks and easy to access the straw as well. It’s much easier to access the straw. The old design had a bit more resistance which sometimes made it tricky for me to access the straw with one hand.
Hope this lid can sustain a drop! Because that was how my old lid died on me
