OVER Tower Run: Just Keep Climbing

OVER Tower Run: Just Keep Climbing

Our first OVER community event brought runners together at MBPJ Tower for an afternoon of movement, challenges, and plenty of climbing.

On 26 September 2026, we hosted our very first community event, the OVER Tower Run: 60 Minute Challenge, brought to you by the Malaysia Towerrunning Association at MBPJ Tower.

The challenge was simple: climb 22 floors, come back down, and repeat as many rounds as possible within 60 minutes.

Simple on paper. Definitely not so simple once the climbing started.

But before everyone took on the stairs, we had a few things waiting for them.

Pick Your Colour, Make It Yours

At our rehydration point, every participant got to choose their favourite colour of the 2.2L OVER Oversized Bottle to keep them hydrated throughout the challenge.

We also prepared customisable tags so runners could add a personal touch to their bottles and make them truly theirs.

Fuel Up Before The Climb

Before heading up, runners could grab a complimentary OVER Nasal Strip to support easier breathing while pushing through the challenge.

We also had energy gels sponsored by DEVER, giving everyone an extra boost before taking on the stairs.

A big thank you to DEVER for fuelling our community for the challenge.

Draw Your Character

Not every station was about performance.

Our Draw Your Character station gave everyone a chance to have a little fun before the challenge and leave their own mark on the event.

It was one of the small details we wanted to include to make our first community event feel like more than just a race.

A Little Fun Before Things Got Serious

Of course, we had to add a little fun into the mix too.

Participants got to test their skills with our Bottle Flip Challenge and put their strength to the test with the Tangki Pro Hold Challenge.

Flipping a bottle might look easy until everyone is watching, and holding up the Tangki Pro for as long as possible quickly became a challenge of its own.

Then Came The 60 Minute Challenge

Once the clock started, it was time to climb.

For 60 minutes, our runners pushed themselves through round after round of MBPJ Tower's 32 floors, testing their endurance both physically and mentally.

Some came with tower running experience. For others, it was their first time.

But everyone came with the same goal: see how far they could go in one hour.

Special Thanks To Those Who Made It Possible

Our first OVER community event would not have been possible without the people and partners who brought it to life.

A huge thank you to the Malaysia Towerrunning Association for organising the OVER Tower Run together with us. From bringing the tower running experience to the event to helping everything come together on the day, we’re grateful to have worked alongside them for our very first community event.

A very special thank you to Soh Wai Ching for joining us and helping guide our runners through the challenge.

From briefing everyone before the run to sharing his experience and guidance, his support helped our participants know what to expect before taking on the tower, especially those trying tower running for the first time.

We would also like to extend a big thank you to DEVER for sponsoring the energy gels for our participants and helping fuel everyone before the challenge.

And Most Importantly, Thank You To Our Community

To every single person who showed up and took on the challenge with us, thank you.

Whether it was your first tower run or another challenge to add to the list, you brought the energy that made the day what it was.

Seeing everyone climbing, cheering each other on, taking part in the activities, and simply having a good time together was exactly what we hoped for when we planned our first OVER community event.

You made our first one special.

Our First Community Event, But Not Our Last

More than anything, this event was about bringing the OVER community together.

We wanted everyone to come down, challenge themselves, meet new people, have some fun, and leave with a story to tell.

To everyone who joined us for our very first community event, thank you for making it one to remember.

See you at the next one.
