A grey sky looms over KL and Selangor as the cases continue to rise and EMCO has been announced to commence in these areas. White flags have been raised, a cry for help as people are running out of food, patience and the will to keep going. The light at the end of the tunnel has dimmed greatly as hospitals are now at the brink of collapse, more people are losing their jobs and the number of suicides increasing.Β
Β
Alas, there is some hope left for those who are struggling financially. KitaJaga.co, a nonprofit movement initiated to help Malaysians in need. People who want to help can go to their website and state what they can help with.
This places them on a map where people nearby who are in need can simply click on the icon and contact them.
On the other hand, people who need help can state what they need and give their contact number and bank details. Itβs an easier and faster alternative to helping people get their needs met.Β
Seeing that kitajaga.co intends to expand their effort to help Malaysians, and are in need of funds to do so, we decided to chip in RM1000 so that they can continue their kind and generous work in helping Malaysians.
We hope everyone is staying safe and hopeful that we will get out of these dark times. If you are financial capable, please do try out the website and help those in need! Small acts, when multiplied by millions of people, can transform the world π
Sincerely,
Casey
